Overview
The Workers Compensations Specialist supports management with the administration and monitoring of Human Resources and Safety policies, procedures, and programs, as well as ensuring compliance with federal and state employment and safety laws.

What you will need
  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook).
  • Above-average analytical skills are required for this position.
How you will make an impact
  • Provide administrative support to management, including scheduling meetings and appointments, completing expense reports, compiling documents, and summarizing meeting notes.
  •  Create and maintain files and reporting for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability and Fleet accidents.
  • Monitor and maintain HR, Compliance and Safety tracking systems.
  • Gather information related to employee relations issues.
  • Complete recording and reporting of incidents and accidents.
  •  Assist with the administration and reporting in the Case Management System.
  • Assist with OSHA, DOL, DOT and other governmental reporting requirements.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of employee records.
  • Respond to calls regarding Employee Relations, Compliance and Safety related inquiries/issues.
  • Support the implementation of Human Resources, Compliance and Safety policies and programs.
  •  May conduct HR and Safety audits to ensure compliance and protect the business from certain employment risks.
