Overview
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for all aspects of the processes and procedures that affect the quantity, quality, and accuracy of product inventory in a Chadwell Supply distribution facility. The Inventory Control Manager oversees the branch warehouse receiving department personnel, all inventory product coordinators, Inventory control personnel, and all Order selectors and Order processors whether directly or through Leads, Supervisors, or Department Managers. The Inventory Control Manager both performs and oversees daily cycle counts of products, processes related to customer warranties, customer returns, and vendor returns, and prepares for and oversees the annual physical inventory. This position also researches product quantity discrepancies for causes and correctness and works with Branch Management personnel to affect changes as required in processes, procedures, or personnel.

- Have previous employee supervision experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse working environment.

How you will make an impact
- Strive to provide excellent customer service satisfaction through prompt and accurate product receiving, checking, counting, and stocking in addition to communication with company personnel.
- Oversee down stocking from overstock of any products to ensure that warehouse picking locations are filled to enable order-pulling efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure that all stocked products are accurately recorded by bin location and quantity in the computer operating system.
- The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for new product bin locations and products that require bin location changes.
- Required to assist and oversee Department Managers and Supervisors in the annual review of all other warehouse employees that they directly or indirectly oversee.
- Manage personnel to acceptable company standards of punctuality, attendance, professional performance, collaboration, cooperation, and alignment with core values.
- Oversee Receiving Department personnel in receiving and ensuring that all inbound products from vendors and distribution branches are checked and counted against packing slips and review receiving documents for quantity and shipment accuracy.
- Ensures that all products are stocked and shelved in the correct bin locations and that all product bin locations are changed as required for proper bin management, and space allocation, and that the quantity in the computer operating system is correct.
- The Inventory Control Manager also may be required to perform any warehouse procedures and processes.
- Responsible for completing performance evaluations of all direct reports when necessary.
- Edit payroll biweekly as needed.
- Oversees a daily inspection of all warehouse product aisles and areas and receives written notification of any unsafe conditions.
- Oversees or performs daily cycle counting, and processing of customer returns, warranties, and vendor returns.
- Verify that all cycle counts performed by Inventory Control Personnel are completed promptly and accurately.
- The Inventory Control Manager assists in keeping the warehouse clean and safe.
- Oversees and assists in loading and unloading goods onto or off of Vendor Delivery vehicles as required and according to Chadwell Supply operating procedures.
