Overview

The Bulk Sales Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales quotes through professional sales techniques, creating new relationships and maintaining quality relations with existing and new accounts. The Bulk Sales Specialist is also responsible for responding to customer bulk orders and quotation requests received via telephone, e-mail, written, and faxed correspondence.

What you will need

  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Pass all pre-employment, background check, and drug testing.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with vendors, managers, and coworkers.
  • Be fluent in reading, writing, understanding and communicating in English.
  • Have Basic computer literacy and experience are required for this position.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Be friendly and courteous towards customers and vendors at all times.
  • Be a vigilant, sincere and responsible person.
  • Be able to work in coordination with his or her supervisor and colleagues.
  • Be prepared and flexible to perform associated and related job functions that are not specifically identified in this job description.
  • Experience in Multi-Family industry is proven to be helpful in this position.
  • Be an assertive self-starter, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Have excellent sales techniques.
  • Have the ability to learn and embrace new sales methods.

How you will make an impact

  • Develop and maintain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers at multi-family properties over the telephone.
  • Manage quote volume with an existing group of customers and provide quotes to prospects to successfully expand the customer base.
  • Conduct pre-quotes to qualify products and customers.
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competition information and trends; identify sales opportunities.
  • Update product knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and participate in appropriate conference calls.

What will set you apart

  • Knowledge and Experience with Sales Pad systems preferred but not required.
  • Employee preferred to have 1-3 years telemarketing, customer service, or bulk sales experience with a proven record of success and strong client relationships.
